Council
St George’s is governed by lay members who have been nominated, seconded and elected by fellow members of the congregation listed on the church’s official Electoral Roll. Elections take place once a year at the Annual Church Meeting, which is usually held in April. Everyone is invited to attend. The Council takes decisions related to church policy, procedures and protocols, and votes on how the church should spend its money, which derives from the faithful giving of its members.
