In Memory of Anne Raine
Sadly, Anne Raine passed away on Sunday, 3 January 2010, of pancreatic cancer. She was a popular and active member of both St Stephen's, Madremanya, and St George's, Barcelona. She was a determined, honest, loving and caring woman whose strong faith was an inspiration to all who knew her. She will be deeply missed. A funeral will be held at noon on Thursday, 7 January 2010, at Funerària Juanals, Av Catalunya 150, Sant Feliu de Guixols, Girona. The family have requested that donations be made to the cancer research charity Fundació Oncolliga Girona instead of flowers. Donations will be collected at the funeral. Although ill, Anne took part in the annual Race for Life, a 5km walk to raise money for cancer research, in the summer of 2009.
