Young Adults

University students and 20-somethings: Why should the fun end at the weekend? Spice up your Monday nights and brighten up the beginning of the week. We meet every Monday from 7.30pm in the top flat above the church. Come meet new faces, try some tasty food and enjoy fellowship with a new set of friends. Whether you’re a fresh face in Barcelona or know it like the back of your hand, it would be great to see you there.

We’re planning to start a 20s and 30s prayer group to pray for the city of Barcelona and to support each other as well. We also have ideas for a 20s and 30s weekend away, an outreach music night in town, and exciting new ways to experience the city. So watch this space.

We’re always open to new ideas. Please let us know if there is something you would like to see happening or if you have ideas for events. All suggestions welcome!

A message from Kat, an Erasmus student, about her experience abroad: "Being back in the UK after my year abroad got me to thinking about all the people that I met and the blessings that were so liberally bestowed on me during what seemed a pretty nerve-wracking year. With the beauty of hindsight, I can look back on my time in Barcelona and see all the wonderful things that God was doing in my life, even if I wasn't always aware of them at the time. I feel like a different person, and I want to thank you all – not just the leaders, but EVERYONE that I spoke to and interacted with – for being my friends, and teaching me, supporting me and challenging me. St George's, your prayers sent me on my way. I miss you all and wish you could still be part of my life on a daily basis! I hope that everyone is well and the church is flourishing as ever!"
