Christian Basics
Roots (1) is six-week course that presents an overview of what Christians believe.
Roots form the foundation of a plant and are a source of food. This interactive course looks at the basics of Christian faith – the foundations – and how those beliefs can be a source of spiritual nourishment for us.
Each week we look at a different topic: thinking about God, the Bible and its message, the role of prayer and worship, and what all this might mean to us personally.
Obviously, these are big issues that provoke equally big questions, and many people may spend their whole lives dealing with them. We realize that this course only touches the surface and may be the start of a lifelong journey for some. At the end of the course, there is time to discuss whether you want to explore these issues and questions further, and what might be the best way forward for you.
