Christian Discipleship
Routes (2) is a 10-week course designed for those who have grasped the basics of Roots (1) and looks at where we as Christians should be going with our faith and what it means to us personally. Routes explores the inspirations and implications of being a Christian, as a disciple and as a missionary.
In these sessions, we are challenged to think about the choices we make and the way we live our lives, taking into account the examples set by some people of faith throughout history.
We are asked to reflect on how we practice our faith, and to keep prayer journals. We discuss individual and corporate responsibilities, and the implications for each of us. We are not afraid to tackle controversial issues in the world today, and we learn how to use the Bible to make informed decisions in dealing with these issues.
As in the Roots (1) course, these sessions will be interactive and participative, and we hope people will find this course to be fun, engaging, challenging and thought-provoking.
