Home Groups

St George's encourages everyone to join small groups that meet in people's homes, so as to enable personal support and growth. These are the groups that meet at present:

* All groups meet fortnightly. Contact the host to find out the date of the next gathering.

Tuesdays, 7.30-9pm

Host: Josette & Alain Castet
Bible study, prayer and fellowship, with coffee and cookies provided
"We want to see how the truths taught in the Bible so long ago can still apply to our daily lives today."

Tuesdays, 7.30-9pm

Jenny Shaw
Bible study, prayer and fellowship, with tea and cakes provided
"We usually begin with a time of sharing, and we use this information to support each other through prayer for the days when we do not meet together."

Wednesdays, 11am-12.30pm
Where: church lounge
Host: led by the Chaplain
Bible study which usually follows on from themes raised in the Sunday sermon
"This group is perfect for those who are free during the daytime and cannot make it out to one of the groups held at night. Sunday sermon themes can be tackled in more depth, with room for discussion."

Wednesdays, 8-10pm
Where:
Sant Gervasi/Bonanova
Host: Andrew & Billie Tweedy
A meal (at 7pm) followed by songs, Bible study, prayer and fellowship
"A relaxed, friendly environment in which we can give each other support and grow together in our understanding of the Bible and practical Christian living."

Fridays, 5.30-7.30pm

Host: Kiki Marriott
Bible study, prayer and fellowship
"Our emphasis is on fellowship. We seek to grow in faith together, especially by supporting each other through prayer. We are very informal, and non-Christians/guests are always welcome to join us."
